Summary – Is ideal for smaller clients that aren’t prepared to spend a lot of money on a software application. The program is still very powerful with many important features available without any limitation. The main restriction on the program is that it is not networkable. Ideal for starter kit arrangement.

Expected that a typical client for the Lite version will probably have less than 100 archive boxes (or equivalent volume ) stored in house, though technically there is no restriction on the total number of boxes managed.

Summary – Designed for clients that require a more sophisticated management of the documentation with particular requirements for the management of system users and the functions that they are able to access.

Docsminder Corporate will be required for companies requiring tracking of boxes and files that move to and off-site storage. Capable of managing a large volume of boxes, typically between 500 and 10,000, though there are no technical limits.

Maximum of 10 users.

Key points

• Provides all of the same functionality as Docsminder Corporate but in a more sophisticated technical environment referred to as a Client/server configuration.

Summary – Designed for larger organizations that have sophisticated document storage and management requirements and/or superior technical configuration (client/server) that provides a number of important advantages including;

• Reduced network traffic
• Improved performance and speed
• Wide area network capability (using TCP/IP protocol)
• Automated/scheduled data backup
• Centralised licensing and administration

There is no restriction on the number of licenses.
