How to Register the Docsminder Server |
If you do not register, then you will have a 30 day unrestricted trialware version. Once this period runs out, you can contact SecureDoc for an extension if required.
To register, display the Server and go to the Licence screen. Then press the Register button. ![]() Simple RegistrationWhen you open the Register screen, you need to make a note of the Product Code. Then you need to make up a Registered Name that suits you (it can be anything). Then contact SecureDoc with these details. We will then provide you with a 20 (or so) digit Registration Code for you to enter into this same screen. This is all fairly easy and quite standard stuff - but unless you are using email, this can be tedious stuff. So we have an easier option.... Easier RegistrationSimply press the email button on this register form. Here you select what type of license you want, and then Docsminder will email all the appropriate details to SecureDoc.In a short time (usually minutes), you will get an email back with all the registration details for you to cut and paste into the registration screen. The email that is sent to SecureDoc is in a special format that we can read automatically. While this is not a completely automated system, it is a lot easier than simply reading out/typing in a lot of otherwise meaningless digits! Please note that you can only register the Server as an Enterprise version. You should now be ready to move onto the Initial Configuration (server) section... |
