How to Register Docsminder |
We provide only one version of Docsminder where the final version that you are using is determined by the Registration process. This means that you do NOT have to download a trialware version, then download the full version later one.
If you do not register, then you will have a 30 day unrestricted trialware version. Once this period runs out, you can contact SecureDoc for an extension if required. When you run up Docsminder for the first time, you are shown a registration screen. You can either register at this point, or wait until later on. In this case, you need to go to the Administration screen, then select the Licensing option. ![]() Simple RegistrationWhen you open the Register screen, you need to make a note of the Product Code. Then you need to make up a Registered Name that suits you (it can be anything). Then contact SecureDoc with these details. We will then provide you with a 20 (or so) digit Registration Code for you to enter into this same screen. This is all fairly easy and quite standard stuff - but unless you are usiung email, this can be tedious stuff. So we have an easier option.... Easier RegistrationSimply press the email button on this register form. Here you select what type of license you want, and then Docsminder will email all the appropriate details to SecureDoc.In a short time (usually minutes), you will get an email back with all the registration details for you to cut and paste into the registration screen. The email that is sent to SecureDoc is in a special format that we can read automatically. While this is not a completely automated system, it is a lot easier than simply reading out/typing in a lot of otherwise meaningless digits! You should no be ready to move onto the Getting Started section... |
